• Canada is world’s second biggest country, next to Russia. Canada's total area is 9,984,670 km2 or 3,855,103 mi2.
• Canada’s total land area is 9,093,507 km2 or 3,511,023 mi2. Freshwater lakes make up for 8.9% of Canada's size or 891,163 km2 or 344,080 mi2 of lakes.
• Canada’s largest island is the Baffin Island. Its area is 507,451 km2 or 195,928 square miles. Baffin Island is more than double the size of the UK and is only slightly smaller than France.
• Canada is the biggest producer of natural uranium in the world. Canada sources around 20 to 30% of the world’s total annual uranium output.
