Health and fitness experts say that cellulite is a fat and fibre issue. It is not simply a fat issue, as most people erroneously think. Women, in general, are more prone to developing flabs due to the vertical distribution of collagen fibres in certain parts of their body. Ladies usually also have a harder time losing cellulite from their lower body because of their unique physiology caused by the female hormones.
Both men and women though have certain body parts that are prone to developing cellulite. These are:
1. Abdomen – As one ages, fat gradually builds up beneath the skin. If the blood does not remove some of these fats and toxins, they begin to form hard bunches. The same health issues that cause poor blood circulation can also trigger the connective tissues to weaken. 3. Thighs - The thighs are one of the primary fat storage areas of the body in females. Women produce the hormone estrogen which triggers the body to store fat. Fat and cellulite are easier to see in ladies since they have thinner skin than men. Generally, thigh cellulite is also doubly hard to remove when compared to those found in other body parts.
