Work can provide many economic and other benefits to a
person. However, various workplace hazards can also present risks to the health
and safety of people at work. The risks include chemicals, biological agents,
physical aspects, allergens, poor ergonomic conditions, a multifaceted network
of safety risks, and a wide range of psychosocial risk factors.
