• In a previous study, individuals with eating disorders who received massage 3 times a day for 10 days gained weight faster and got out of the hospital 6 days earlier than those who did not undergo this therapy.

• Finally, a one-hour massage is equivalent to the benefits a person can gain when he or she gets 7-8 hours of sleep.
