Did you know that the first known “human computer” was a woman?
Who said about men being superior in Math than women? According to The Guinness Book of World Records 1982 edition, the first human computer known in the world is a woman in the person of Shakuntala Devi. She is an Indian writer and a mental calculator. In 1980, she showed her prowess in Math by mentally calculating the answer to the multiplication of two 13 digit numbers in a whopping 28 seconds which landed her a spot in the book of world records.

Did you know that the longest-standing Math problem stand for 365 years?
A Russian Mathematician, Christian Goldbach, posed a conjecture that left no one to prove or disapprove it. His conjecture states that every even positive integer greater than three is the sum of two primes. This earned his spot in the world records.

Did you know that Nigeria holds the largest Math class?
The National Mathematical Center in Nigeria currently holds the largest Math class. It involved 2,381 participants.

Did you know that the largest number cannot be written down even if all the material in the universe will be turned to pen and ink?
Graham’s number, from Ronald Graham, is today’s largest number. According to The Guinness Book of World Records, even if all the materials in the universe were turned into pen and ink, it still cannot be written down.
